We had a great trip. The boat was not our favorite and the quality of the food was not good. However, we loved our ports and our flights were on schedule. We did not have any glitches in the plans that Cruise Planners made for us. We appreciate everything. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport, and he was great. Our trip was the perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation. Being able to explore and road trip with a schedule but at our own pace was key. The excursions selected for us were exceptional and set the pace for each new location we encountered. Recommendations for sights to visit in each city were detailed and convenient to our location. All the hotels were well selected, combining the perfect balance of cultural immersion and location. We really loved the time at the vineyard and could have stayed there a week! With Darcy’s help, I had completed and followed ALL of Royal Caribbeans boarding requirements which are lengthy. I’m not sure I would have been able to do this on my own. When meeting the port agent to review my information at entry in the terminal, the port agent informed me that he couldn't scan our passports because they were too new and couldn't be scanned. We were sent to the a "counter agent" and the same procedures completed 5 minutes earlier was repeated again. We were given a paper boarding/sea-pass. When we took the paper pass to check onto the ship, we were told we were not checked-in. We had to wait for over an hour and a half for someone/supervisor to approve our check-in. We did not board the ship until after 2:20pm. I purchased the ultimate dining package and had to make reservation once I boarded the ship. Reservations could not be made online, which was a severe RC mistake. By the time I booked restaurants reservations, which was extremely challenging because most of the times I wanted had been taken it was 3:30pm. During the restaurant scheduling I was informed I had dinner reservations at Chops Grille at 5:30. After scheduling restaurant, I had to schedule the entertainment/shows as was suggested by RC personnel. We felt rushed, couldn't relax before dinner at 5:30pm. When I mentioned my dilemmas to an RC rep, I only got apologies. The first da was not a fun day at all. Other than this we had a lovely cruise. Highly recommend Darcy. With Darcy’s help, I had completed and followed ALL of Royal Caribbeans boarding requirements which are lengthy. I’m not sure I would have been able to do this on my own. Chava, Mike, and I have returned from the Rome trip and I wanted to let you know how it went.
First of all, we had an absolutely wonderful time! I wanted to let you know that the events you booked for us were outstanding. I left a TripAdvisor review of the guides we had as they did an excellent job, and the gladiator school was a blast! Booking the tours with the skip the line feature was a must do, as the lines we would have otherwise been in would have made it nearly impossible to get into the Vatican or Colosseum (~4-5 hour lines were the norm there).
The only negatives (to just let you know) was that the room was pretty cramped for three beds and the beds were a bit tough to sleep in. Also, we may go economy plus for airline tickets in the future as the leg room for those international flights was tough (especially in the Airbus planes that Swiss uses, the seats are very cramped).
Overall it was an amazing trip and we had a great time! We will definitely be contacting you for future trips and appreciate the help you gave us with this one. I think between us we have over 1000 pictures!!!

We were on several different tour formats - trains, buses, boats and even a funicular that took us up to Mt Fuji! Wholeheartedly recommend Darcy @ Cruise Land & Sea! Working with Darcy at Cruise Land & Sea, was nothing short of amazing. She was courteous and accommodating when planning my recent trip to Costa Rica back in July with my mom. When I first contacted her, we knew we wanted to do white water rafting but that was it. Darcy quickly suggested an itinerary of equal parts adventure and equal parts relaxation. We had a full day adventure every other day of our trip that included ATV riding, Horseback Riding, Waterfall Repelling, Zip-lining, White Water Rafting and a trip to the National Manuel Antonio Park where we got to see a plethora of animals ranging from sloths to bats to monkeys with babies on their backs. During our trip, Darcy was available to help when the hotel had a mix up with our hotel reservations and immediately got on the phone to clear it up. She was also available to remind me of the times our tour guides were to pick us up when I accidentally mixed up the times. Working with Darcy at Cruise Land & Sea, was nothing short of amazing. Fantastic attention to detail! Darcy planned our 12 day combination cruise and resort stay completely! We knew exactly where we were supposed to go, what time to be there and who was going to meet us. I usually plan my vacations by myself although I must say I loved the experience of using a travel planner! Just want to share what fabulous service we received from Darcy while we took our recent cruise. Our ship was unexpectedly delayed over an hour to port in Cozumel and most of the ship's excursions were cancelled. We booked ours through Cruise Planners and Darcy was right there to help us figure out our best options. We ended up getting a full refund on the excursion that we would now be too late for...and booked another one on board. Darcy's immediate availability and calming support made this little glitch just that...stress free. Thanks Darcy! Looking forward to planning more great times with you!
